let me be blunt for a bit.  how many times do we do something that doesn’t work until we try something new?  a new approach, a new tactic, just something new.  but here we are doing the same things either trying to find a relationship or worse yet, doing the same wrong things IN a relationship.  and that awesome perspective of being “out-of-the-box” and not “too close to things” unfortunately only happens once things go wrong and we realize in retrospect what we should’ve paid attention to all along.  maybe we should all take just a few minutes to see what we don’t like about our lives and do that thing that’s new and fresh.  it could only help, right?

artwork-wise, i hope it pulled it off with the big reveal and punchline in that last panel!  hopefully you were like, “hey, what’s the boom boom mean?” and then the last panel you were like, “hahahhaha, i get it, hahahhaha!”  ok, maybe not so much laughter but hopefully the “i get it.”
