doesn’t it just suck when you’re placed in a situation where you can’t be exactly truthful?  it might be two friends having an argument and you’re stuck in the middle, or maybe you happened to find out something that you shouldn’t have.  in any case, now you’re forced into an awkward situation.  so what do you do now?  well, this is where we find out how political you can be without compromising your values.  the key here is to get out of the situation with your integrity intact.  because when push comes to shove, we can’t compromise on values.  so, we do the dance, we say things to distract or divert, but in the end, if you have to, just tell the truth and know you’ll be walking away with at least your integrity.

whoa, don’t even get me started on my own critic this week.  it’s rare i post a strip that i’m this unhappy about, but it’s deadline time and i gotta have it posted!  looking back, i should’ve swapped the dialogue in the second and third panel.  i was going for a very sketchy like feel for the artwork but i think i couldn’t help myself and it got more polished than i wanted.  and then finn’s body structure looks different from the first to second panel.  so, let this be the wake-up call plus the comments from last week’s strip to get more serious (funny?) with my punchlines and more risks with the art.
